I don’t always run, but when i do, it’s in the rain at the Cap 10K Global Running Day event. My favorite part, aside from how well organized it was, the free stuff from the vendors, the raffles, and the great vibes, was running in the rain.
If you’ve already done it, I don’t need to explain what’s so great about it, and if you haven’t, try it some day!
And runners: do you even lift? I know the answer for many is “no,” but many of the top runners do. Why? It helps reduce the chance of injuries (with the right exercises, performed well), and increases run speed (don’t worry, you won’t automatically get slow and “bulky”). Doing cardio has many great benefits, but lifting weights and having muscle does, too 😉
Happy Global Running Day!
